C is for Classy

From Boston I flew to Baltimore for Jenn's wedding. It was lovely to be reunited with the old roomies.

Wednesday was ladies night at the bar where Jenn and Johnny first met. We had a couple of drinks that were too strong and then Shannon and I went to the airport to pick up Brittany. Thursday we got our nails done and had a tasty lunch at a local deli. Thursday night was rehearsal followed by luau themed rehearsal dinner. Friday was bridal brunch and getting ready.

Jenn looked amazing. The ceremony was short but very sweet. The reception was hysterical. Beautiful venue, delicious food choices, open bar, snazzy decor. Lee alumni stepped it up on the dance floor. There even was --that cousin-- the 45 year old that no one is really related to, but has been crumping non-stop for 4 hours.

I got less sleep in 3 days than I would in one night, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. It's the weirdest sensation to watch someone close to you get married. I guess I have a glimpse into how my friends felt two years ago when I was the one taking the plunge.

Anyway, I could be happier for the new Mrs. Jennifer Whalen. May there be many more reasons to celebrate in your lives together!
