We live in Tennessee again! It's cheap and warmer (although a little too warm at times). We do miss our friends + Tessa in Maine though!
Jobs
He's a college soccer coach.
I'm a NICU nurse.
House
We're building a quaint house in a newer, Cleveland neighborhood. We'll be moved in by the end of January, weather-permitting. Did I mention it has insulation and functioning heat and air conditioning? What a welcomed change from our last 2 residences.
Baby
After 6 years of baby fever I can actually say we're welcoming lil Hennessey in 2014. I'm almost 23 weeks, and due April 2nd. He or she (it's a surprise! and i usually hate surprises; look at me go!) weighs a pound and is the size of some fruit I can never remember (could they not compare a child to something better? "You're 20 weeks; baby is the size of a Foot-long Subway Melt").
2013 has been the year we've been waiting for our whole marriage. We've had so many "When you're a nurse..." "When my job is more flexible..." "Once we leave New England..." conversations that it's surreal to me that all of those things have actually happened. I think we'll take a year off from Five-Year-Planning and just enjoy life as it is. Roll on, 2014. We welcome you and your surprises (seriously, look at me go!) with open arms.
