Oh, How Things Change

Forgive me blogging father for I have sinned; it has been 5 months since my last confession...

In order to prevent a 10 page essay, I will resort to 5 facts/updates/anythings per month

May 2009
1. Chris and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. Yay for us. We spent the weekend in Columbia, SC with our friends Sven, Morgan, Jo, Macie, and Miriam.
2. I got a raise!
3. Chris left for Singapore :(
4. My car got broken into. Window shattered, purse stolen... contents: coco chanel perfume $95, passport $75, digital camera $200, extra set of keys to my apt. $20. Gay.
5. I flew home to visit my parents using our air miles. I went shopping, got my hair done, and tried to get over being so darn lonely.

June 2009
1. Valerie came to visit: we went tanning, worked out 14 times in 3 days, and went shopping in ATL.
2. Savannah came to visit: we got pedicures & I yelled at an Asian woman (ooops)
3. Chris came home! :)
4. We went to visit my parents in MO. We went out on the boat every day. My mom started getting sick (pnuemonia, or so we thought)
5. I got in my first fender bender (my fault, boo)

July 2009
1. Chris left for Indianapolis :(
2. Chris got offered a job in Maine. We started looking into that as an option for post-graduation plans.
3. Jason and Becca had baby Lucas!
4. My mom got really sick. Chris and I had to go to Missouri while she had heart surgery. Big shock to us all.
5. Sven and Morgan told us they were pregnant!

August 2009
1. Soccer season started. Goodbye husband.
2. We accepted the position in Maine. We move in December!
3. I turned 22! Celebrated in Chattanooga with about 12 friends.
4. School started for everyone, and being the nerd I am, I missed it.
5. Lee wouldn't let Chris register for classes without paying his school bill, and we needed money for his visa so he could start working in December so I started working at Chili's after work and on the weekends.

September 2009 (You're not asleep yet, right?)
1. I'm still working a lot. I'm tired up of commuting to Chat, and I'm getting kind of bored.
2. Chris's last soccer season isn't going too hot. But he will graduate with academic honors. Go Chris!
3. I'm doing a very good job of keeping up with the laundry and cleaning. This is a surprise because when I get tired I tend to get lazy. (pats self on back)
4. Woah, everyone is having a baby. Get me a puppy quick! I don't need any ideas.
5. I can't wait to move to Maine!
