To all my loved ones

I can't come see you this year. I'm sorry.

And believe me, I feel incredibly guilty and anxiety-ridden about it. There isn't a week that goes by that I'm not on expedia, kayak, airtran, allegiant air, or even greyhound trying to see if I might magically find a 10 dollar flight, train, bus, or warp to Florida, England, Tennessee, Georgia, California, New York, South Carolina, or Ohio.

And then after that I would magically find a rental car for $1/day. And someone would volunteer to drive me to the airport and not want gas money. And while they were at it they would take Cooper so it didn't cost me $30/day to board him. And all of this would happen 8 times so I could visit every single one of you and prove that you really are soo important to me and I do miss you soo very much.

But I can't. And I can't pick and choose where I go because, inevitably, someone will think that I value someone else's relationship more than his/hers (even though that is absolutely not true) and get his/her feelings hurt.

So, to resolve this expensive and difficult situation, we're not going anywhere. We will be locked up in the ever-so-glorious Maine, and if you want to see us, we will have big smiles, open arms, and an air mattress awaiting you.

Love,
Jenae
