and I'm a sugaraholic.
Hi, Jenae.
Listen, my friends. I've got this issue. It starts with breakfast. Yes, brownies for breakfast. And then there's lunch. Oreos for lunch. We can't forget dinner. Cake sounds good. Finally, we have dessert, my personal favorite. Ice cream.
My love for desserts has gotten me in trouble before. Like when I went to college and gained 12 glorious pounds of chocolate chip waffles and birthday cake ice cream. And it was all good and fun, until my pants (or shirts or even shoes!) wouldn't fit. So I ran and lunged and squated my way back to a weight I hadn't seen since sophomore year of high school.
And all was good.
Until I realized I didn't want to live on a diet of egg whites and water and chicken breast. So instead of finding balance and moderation, I let myself eat everything that I had deprived myself of for the past 6 months, while training for a half-marathon, working two jobs, and going to school. This was the phase I enjoyed the most. Eating an entire molten chocolate cake by myself and still losing 4lbs. Alas, the race was over, but my unhealthy relationship with carbohydrates continued.
This brings us to present time. A time where I have gained some weight that I just can't shake no matter how much I run and lunge and squat. And instead of submitting and letting the jiggles win, I've decided it's about time me and the "m" word become friends again.
So hello, moderation. Goodbye, oreos!
