- I would graduate from nursing school in May 2013
- I would take my boards the next week and pass
- I would get ACLS certified the same week
- Chris and I would go on at least a week long Caribbean vacation celebrating my graduation and our 5th wedding anniversary.
- I would immediately get hired for a 36 hours day shift position in the CCU with excellent benefits.
- I would get my CCRN and take biochemistry while making a very decent wage at the hospital
- I would apply to UNE and get accepted to their nurse anesthesia program the first year.
- A beautiful and cheap apartment within walking distance of the school would open up in Portland, and we would move.
- I'd graduate from UNE in Dec 2016
- I would take my boards right after graduation and pass
- We'd celebrate my graduation in some exotic desitination
- I'd get hired as a crna at the VA in Decatur, GA and have great hours and amazing federal benefits.
- We'd buy a fantastic home in the Roswell, Decatur, Alpharetta area, where we would be 30 minutes away from downtown ATL and 30 minutes away from an international airport.
- Then we'd have fraternal twins (boy/girl), and I'd have a hysterectomy.
Just kidding about the last part. I mean, I'd take twins, but no preference on gender. And no chance I'm getting a hysterectomy. Unless I have quadruplets or something crazy. If that happens you can cut that sucker right out.
I'll take everything else though, on that exact timeline. No diversions. Nada. Of course, now that I've said all of this, I'm probably pregnant with sextuplets and nursing school is going to call and tell me I've been dropped from the program. Darn you, Murphy and your law.
