It's a holiday?

It's National Administrator's Day... or week... or something?  I'm not quite sure to be honest, but gifts keep showing up on my desk, and I'm loving it.  So far I've gotten balloons, a whoopie pie from a local bakery (I gave it away because I don't like whoopie pies, and I don't eat dessert unless it tastes awesome), a wind chime made locally, a bouquet of flowers from Dr. Healey, a potted hydrangea from the therapists, and a 25 dollar mastercard gift card.  I think they are trying to cater in lunch for us tomorrow, but I've hopefully talked them out of it.  I've only worked at this place for about 2 1/2 weeks total, and I feel really odd accepting all these gifts.

I've always said if we are ever at a point where we don't have to worry about money, my guilty pleasure would be to have fresh flowers all through my house, so I'm digging the pretty flowers on my dining and coffee table.

I just realized I've only had one contact in all day.  Must have been a tougher than usual morning for me.

It's dark and I want to go running.  Nights like this make me wish I had more friends in Maine.

Chris and I went a looked at a house today.  It looked cute in pictures, was in a good neighborhood, and was very affordable.  When we got there, though, we were disappointed.  It looks like a lot of the updates in the house were poorly done DIYs, so it would end up costing us a lot more money in the long run.  It was nice to look though.  It's strange looking at houses;  I almost don't feel old enough to be doing it.

Our 3 year anniversary is in 2 weeks.  I don't feel old enough for that either.

Ok.  I'm heading to the treadmill... bleeh
