It (was) Friday

Yesterday.  But it didn't feel like it.  Because I'm working today.  Things I'm thankful for this week.

1.  It's over :)  I'm on overtime crack right now, and my body knows it. 
2.  I don't have breast cancer.  Not that I ever did, but I worked in a breast cancer clinic this week; there were two girls my age (and younger!) having lumpectomies.  That made me sad.
3.  Someone special has a birthday this weekend.  Hint: he has four legs!! 
4.  My next paycheck is going to be much larger than usual.
5.  Chris is working from 8am-8pm Monday through Friday for the next 3 weeks.  I've very, very thankful for him.
6.  Tessa will be back next week.  This makes me happy because a. my dog likes to have her around during the days b. she's going to finish some art for me on her fancy shmancy macbook pro.  (can I just let the world know that she booked her return flight for a midnight arrival, 1 hour away, on a work night, that just so happens to be my birthday.  SUCH a little sister move)
7.  I'm coming to terms with turning 24.  I can't wait to read this when I'm 65 and my boobs are down to my knees, and think, that whiney little bitch-- what I'd give to be 24 now.
8.  I start school in 16 days.  All nursing programs in central Maine are on a 3 year wait list for clinicals.  So I'm extra thankful I get to start so soon.
9.  for new friends (and old ones too, of course)
10. For a place to live, for two cars to drive, for a husband with a great sense of humor, for parents that love me, friends that support me, my health, my knowlegde, and all seven Harry Potter audio books on my phone (ha)
