I just watched a home birth video and winced through 95% of it. In fact, my legs went numb while I imagined the pain. And then you saw relief and euphoria on the mother's face and tears in the dad's eyes, and my exhale turned into a sob. And I sobbed happy sobs for complete strangers.
New life is so so beautiful.
