This week went by suuuper fast. I've been a day behind the whole time too. Like I just realized it was Friday. Score!
Other reasons why this week rocks:
1. I got said heart rate monitor and have been having so much fun with it. Chris told me if he hears the words, "guess how many calories i burned doing..." one more time he's going to rip the chest strap off of me.
2. I joined the public library. I've been so spoiled with university libraries that I didn't want to venture into the local library. But I'm glad I did. I can't believe you can rent 35 books and 5 dvds at one time. Seriously. Audiobooks. Libros en espanol. All the things that I waste too much money on Amazon for. All free. I will say that the place does smell of funk. But since they keep hand sanitizer on tap I think I'll survive.
3. An employee that typically has the worst. attitude. ever. has been the nicest. person. ever. this week. Makes life easier.
4. All the work bathrooms have had the toilet liners in stock this week. That saves me time approx 5 minutes of lining the toilet with a whole roll of toilet paper. And before you judge me for being OCD, keep in mind that I work in a place where blowouts, vomit, and blood on the toilet are not uncommon.
5. I FINALLY got out of work early enough to try kickboxing. It was intense, and I loved it. I felt hardcore.
6. It's supposed to warm up this weekend. i.e. 36 degrees. Bikini weather!
7. We totally messed up on taxes this year. Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to the US of A and the money you owe them. Nonetheless, we've worked hard at correcting our error. If it all works out then at least we'll owe them a couple thousand less than the original amount. (<-- that is the positive part if you were wondering) And it won't happen again. Lesson learned.
8. I got to skype with Valerie and it was fantastic to see her beautiful face again.
9. I don't have to work on Valentine's Day, and I didn't even ask off! Maybe I'll make my prego neighbor something sweet (Jenn, if you're reading this, act surprised when you get them)
10. We got some good career news for Mr. Hennessey.
This weekend we'll be watching Manchester City play Manchester United at United. This is a huge event in the Hennessey household. My husband's mood for the next month depends on these results. Fingers crossed for City! We'll also be celebrating Valentine's Day, (TMI alert) which will be forever ruined by the fact that I started my period that day 11 years ago. I mean, what's more romantic than menstruation? Oh gosh, on that note, have a fantastic weekend!
