It's Friday!

It's been an uneventful week, but as the hubs always says, "no news is good news."  He's a big fan of cliches.  Cliches normally annoy me, but for some reason, he gets away with them.  It's probably his accent.  I'm so jealous of that accent.  People automatically think he's a scholar, AND he even gets an extra scoop of tuna on his Subway sandwich.  And he milllkkks it.  I want to move somewhere where people think an American accent is cool.  Oh wait, nobody likes us.  Awesome.  Maybe we'll move to Argentina.  They hate the English.  And then we'll be even.

And now for our feature presentation...

1. We met someone for a dinner last night to discuss a potential job opportunity.  It happened to be St. Patrick's Day, so the place was rammoed (UK slang for rammed).  We ended up having to shout just to be heard over the bagpipes.  That's right-- a bagpipe player.  Chris was pretty appalled that they thought the bagpipes were Irish as they are certainly "gaelic, not celtic."  I didn't care though, I had a blast stuffing my face with a cheeseburger and watching drunk people hit on each other.
2. I ran OUTSIDE yesterday in 52 degree SUNNY weather, and it felt GREAT.
3. It's supposed to be pretty this weekend, and we're going hiking tomorrow.
4. Giffords reopens today.  It has the best best ice cream, and it closes for the winter every year.  I wish they wouldn't.  The ice cream is so good I'd eat it in -20 degree weather, outside, naked if I had to.  I can't decide between Maine Moose Track or Peanut Butter Caramel Cookie Dough.
5. Toy Story 3 dvd from netflix is waiting for me to watch.  No judging.  Pixar movies make me smile.
6. I was supposed to work tomorrow, but they didn't approve my overtime. And I don't think they'll approve it next week either.  Lovveee it. Having Saturdays off is the best!
7. I've watched a documentary (netflix on my work computer) every day of this week while working.  It takes me all 8 1/2 hours, because I watch it in between calls, but it makes the day go by so much faster.  I've watched "Pregnant in America", "The No Impact Man", "The Business of Being Born", "Fat Head", and today I'm going to watch something about a war dance.  The whole office gets into it too.  We were cheering on a woman during her natural, standing birth.  Hahaha.
8.  Tessa's coming soon!

Right, mate, off you pop.  Toodle pip, me lovies!
Translation:  See you later :)
